Peter Harris' Bayou Bar Allstars

Bassist and bandleader Peter Harris has spent years cultivating some of the deepest musical relationships in New Orleans jazz — and for one special evening, he's bringing his all-star crew to Baton Rouge. This is a band of heavy hitters. Ashlin Parker on trumpet, Julian Lee on tenor saxophone, Seth Finch on piano, and Nygel Anderson on drums — each a respected voice in the New Orleans jazz community. Together they bring the loose, swinging electricity of a late-night club set, the kind where conversation stops and the music takes over.
